3 reasons why Bhuvneshwar Kumar's comeback was possible
The veteran pacer returns to India's T20I squad for the New Zealand tour after nearly four years away from the format.
2. Maintaining consistency in domestic cricket
Even when sidelined from the national squad, Bhuvneshwar continued to dominate batting lineups across domestic tournaments. He consistently produced impactful spells, including a brilliant four-wicket haul for just 10 runs in the Uttar Pradesh T20 League playoffs.
His impressive economy rates and ability to take wickets regularly in competitions such as the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy further underlined his quality. Despite being away from international cricket, Bhuvneshwar has continued to showcase his experience, control and effectiveness with the ball.
