2. Anshul Kamboj
Anshul Kamboj is a 25-year-old right-arm medium pacer from Karnal, Haryana, standing 1.87 m tall. He first drew widespread attention after taking all 10 wickets in a single Ranji Trophy innings, which led to a bidding war at the 2025 IPL Auction. Chennai Super Kings signed him for INR 3.40 crore. In the 2026 IPL season, he was the highest wicket-taker for Chennai Super Kings with 21 wickets, even as the side finished eighth with six wins from 14 games.
His List A record of 35 appearances, 56 wickets at an average of 22.41 and an economy of 4.58 reflects consistent performance across the format. Kamboj's high-arm action and seam movement make him a useful option across different phases of an ODI innings, and his ability to extract bounce on unresponsive surfaces adds to his appeal.
