2. Mohammed Siraj

Mohammed Siraj has been a workhorse for the Indian team in the past few years. His name has become synonymous with India's pace attack, and the Hyderabad-born has often played a vital part with the ball alongside Jasprit Bumrah and Mohammed Shami. His fate of being an all-format player for the Indian team has slowly started fading, though.

With Shami's exclusion and Bumrah's injury concerns, Siraj has himself borne a lot of workload upon himself, especially in the Test format. Keeping the same in mind, the ace pacer has been advised to manage his availability for the team. While he did feature in the Test against Afghanistan, chief selector Ajit Agarkar had explained that Siraj won't be featuring excessively in other formats to keep himself fresh and ready for more important challenges.
