2. Royal Challengers Bengaluru

The Indian Premier League (IPL) has witnessed several first-time champions and franchises clinching multiple titles over the years. However, the Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB), a team that has been part of the tournament since its inception in 2008, had long remained without a title.
They reached the finals three times and consistently making it to the playoffs, but could not able to touch the prestigious title. That changed in IPL 2025, when RCB finally broke their title drought by defeating the Punjab Kings (PBKS) in the final, lifting the coveted trophy after 18 years of perseverance.
