5 players DC might release ahead of IPL 2026 auction

Indian middle-order batter Karun Nair is also likely to be under consideration for release. Despite a strong domestic season, Nair scored only 198 runs in eight innings in IPL 2025. His inability to translate domestic form into IPL success could prompt DC to look for a younger player who can strengthen the middle order and provide more impact in the high-pressure T20 format.
