<p>Joginder Sharma made his international debut in December 2004 against Bangladesh. However, his T20I debut came in September 2007 against England during a T20 World Cup 2007 clash in Durban. He played four matches in the marquee event and bowled two iconic 20th overs under pressure against Australia in the semi-finals and Pakistan in the final.</p>
<p>Joginder only played four ODIs and as many T20Is in his career, with the final against Pakistan being his last international appearance. He joined the Haryana police later in 2007, while still being an active cricketer. In 2023, he retired from all forms of cricket. However, the left-arm pacer made his T20I debut in 2007 in a Group D clash between India and Scotland in Durban. He picked up 40, 69, and 15 wickets from 14 Tests, 58 ODIs, and 10 T20Is, respectively. The Raebareli-born retired from all forms of cricket on September 4, 2018, when he was just 32 years old.
