Kedar Jadhav is among the latest names to join politics after calling it a time to his international career. Jadhav, 40, joined the Bharatiya Janata Party on April 08, 2025 in a ceremony at the party office. The state president, Chandrashekhar Bawankule, felicitated the cricketer as a part of his welcome to the ruling party.
The former cricketer has represented India on an international level and has played in the Indian Premier League (IPL) as well. He played for Chennai Super Kings, Royal Challengers Bengaluru, Sunrisers Hyderabad and Delhi Daredevils in the cash-rich tournament. He was a brilliant all-rounder who did magic with the bat as well as with the ball. In June 2024, he announced his retirement from all formats of cricket and now is looking forward to starting his career in Politics. It will be exciting to see the cricketer in a new role in the upcoming future.
