Nuwan Thushara is one of the more experienced members of this Sri Lanka squad. He is a seamer who can swing the new ball at good pace and has represented Sri Lanka in 31 T20Is, taking 36 wickets at an average of 23.44 and an economy rate of 8.29. Having played IPL cricket for Mumbai Indians and Royal Challengers Bengaluru, Thushara brings franchise experience to a relatively young Sri Lanka group. He is one of only two players in this squad who also featured in the T20I series in England, underlining his standing within the side.
