ENG vs IND 5th Test: 3 key changes India must make to win
The fifth Test serves as India’s final shot at salvaging a draw in the series.
1. Dhruv Jurel for Rishabh Pant
Rishabh Pant has been ruled out of the final Test with a fractured toe. He had to retire hurt after a reverse-sweep during India's first innings in the fourth match went wrong. Although he returned valiantly to get to a half-century, Pant was unable to keep for the entirety of the match, with Dhruv Jurel doing quite a solid job with the gloves.
The fourth Test was not the first time when Jurel was called in as Pant's replacement. He filled in for the southpaw at Lord's after Pant suffered a blow to his finger while keeping. Jurel was yet another player who impressed with scores of 94, 53*, 52 and 28 in the four innings against England Lions. He even possesses a solid defensive technique.
