2. Varun Chakaravarthy

Varun Chakaravarthy made a memorable comeback to the Indian team after three years after producing consistent performances in domestic cricket and in the Indian Premier League (IPL). He finished as the joint-highest wicket-taker in the series, scalping five wickets from three games at an average of 14.60 and a strike rate of 14.40.
Chakaravarthy conceded runs at an economy rate of just 6.08 on pitches which were offering very little for the spinners. However, the 33-year-old stuck to his strengths and made life difficult for the Bangladeshi batters with his mystery spin. Chakaravarthy's return to form bodes well for India as he adds a different dimension to the team's spin-bowling resources.
