3. Harshal Patel (Punjab Kings)- 7/10
PBKS bought the 2021 Purple Cap winner, Harshal Patel, for an enormous amount of INR 11.75 crore. The pacer was Punjab’s costliest signing at the business extravaganza in Dubai. Donning Punjab’s jersey against DC, the pacer did tight bowling and chipped in with two wickets in his team’s four-wicket win.
Bowling four overs, he dismissed David Warner and Rishabh Pant but also leaked 47 runs. In the final over of the first innings, his confidence was shaken as Abhishek Porel took him to the cleaners and succeeded in plundering 25 runs. The PBKS team management will want Harshal to be more disciplined in further games.
