1) Akash Madhwal
Akash Madhwal could be a third potential replacement who has shown promise in domestic cricket and the IPL. Madhwal started as a net bowler for Royal Challengers Bengaluru before being signed by Mumbai Indians in 2022. He led Uttarakhand during the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy 2022-23 season. He picked up 14 wickets in eight matches while representing the five-time champions. Although his recent IPL outings have been modest, including a four-wicket season with Rajasthan Royals in 2025, he remains a talented pacer capable of delivering under the right conditions.
