IPL 2026: 3 players yet to show their true potential
Amidst the chaos and excitement, a few highly-rated players have struggled to live up to expectations.
1. Jasprit Bumrah (MI)
Arguably the best pacer of our generation, Jasprit Bumrah is having a little slump in the ongoing IPL 2026 for Mumbai Indians. The expectations are always there from him, and most of the time, he delivers as well. But things have been very different for him this time.
In MI’s first three matches, Bumrah has gone wicketless in all of those, which is acceptable for a player as talented and gifted as him. Even though he bowled an economical spell against Delhi Capitals, he could not pick up wickets for his side. Against KKR and RR, he was a tad expensive. So, overall it has been a disappointing season so far for the experienced MI pacer, and has failed to deliver for his side.
