IPL 2026: 5 oldest active players to score centuries
Ahead of the IPL 2026 season, we will look at the instances where a few players rolled back the years with memorable three-figure knocks, showcasing their class, and power-hitting ability.
3. Virat Kohli (35 years 153 days) vs RR, IPL 2024
Any batting record list in the Indian Premier League is incomplete without this name, Virat Kohli. The player with the most runs in the league's history showed his class during Royal Challengers Bengaluru’s encounter against the Rajasthan Royals during the 2024 edition of the cash-rich tournament.
Virat scored his record eighth IPL century, the most by any player, against RR at Jaipur, scoring 113 runs in just 73 balls, guiding his team’s total to 183 runs in 20 overs. Unfortunately, his efforts were not enough, as his team lost the contest, with RR chasing the target with utmost ease. The New Delhi-born batter was 35 years and 153 days old during this knock.
