The form of Nicholas Pooran has been the biggest concern for the Super Giants, as the big-hitting West Indian has scored just 51 runs in six innings. Given that, he is expected to make way for South Africa's Matthew Breetzke.

Ayush Badoni opened the batting against the Punjab Kings but is expected to return to his spot at number 5. Badoni’s half-century against the Knight Riders set the platform for their chase, as the Delhi batter held the innings together as wickets fell around him.

Mukul Choudhary showed glimpses of his brilliant back-end hitting. A potent six-hitter, Mukul scored an unbeaten 27-ball 54 against the Knight Riders in a match-winning knock. However, his returns have declined since then. Himmat Singh slotted in an impact player, replacing Abdul Samad, who has been out of form.
