10. Maheesh Theekshana

Maheesh Theekshana has done an incredible job for Sri Lanka, this year. The pacer played eight matches in the World Cup Qualifiers, in 2023, and ended up as the second-leading wicket-taker with 21 scalps in eight matches at an economy of 4.02.
Theekshana has played 22 matches in the ODI format but he hasn’t proven his potential against quality sides. The 23-year-old bowler will look to be impactful in this competition to bring cheers to the faces of his team’s fans again after the 2022 Asia Cup. In the recently concluded LPL, Theekshana put up a fine show with the ball for the Jaffna Kings. He picked up seven wickets in nine games at an economy of 6.83 in the league.
