Vidarbha opener Aman Mokhade finished the group stage as the second-highest run-scorer and played an important role in his team’s qualification for the knockout rounds. In seven matches, Mokhade scored 637 runs at an average of 106.16 and a strike rate of 112.54.

Throughout the group stage, he hit four centuries, including an unbeaten 150 against Baroda, where he carried Vidarbha to a comfortable nine-wicket win in a chase. His other big scores of 147 against Uttar Pradesh, 139 against Jammu & Kashmir, and 110 agaunst Bengal consistently gave Vidarbha strong starts. He also chipped in with an 82 against Hyderabad. The tournament recorded a brilliant comeback for Mokhade, who had a difficult Ranji Trophy season last year and was dropped midway.
