Simran Shaikh is another uncapped batter to keep an eye on in the upcoming season of the premier T20 tournament. She was part of UP Warriorz Women in 2023 but was released ahead of the following season due to limited returns. After going unsold last season, Simran worked hard at the domestic level and impressed while representing Mumbai’s Under-19 women’s team.

So far, she has scored 83 runs in 12 innings across her stints with two WPL franchises. Returning to UP Warriorz this season, Simran will be eager to make a strong comeback and prove her worth on the big stage.
