Top 4 Indian cricketers confirmed to play Canada Super 60 league
Vancouver is all set to host the Canada Super 60, the country’s first professional T10 league, which kicks off on October 8, 2025, at the iconic BC Place Stadium.
3. Piyush Chawla
Veteran Indian spinner Piyush Chawla has been added to Brampton Blitz's squad for Canada Super 60. Having retired from professional cricket earlier this year, Chawla has played for over two decades. Throughout his career, he featured in three Tests, 25 ODIs, and seven T20Is for India, and was part of both the 2007 T20 World Cup and 2011 ODI World Cup-winning squads. At the domestic level, he picked up 446 first-class wickets and is one of the most consistent spinners in Indian cricket history. In the IPL, he played 192 matches for franchises like KKR, CSK, PBKS, and MI, taking 192 wickets.
“I am really excited and looking forward to coming to Vancouver and playing at BC Place. The Super 60 format is one of its kind. If you want to enjoy the game and feel the energy on the field, see you all there,” Chawla said.
