1. Shweta Sehrawat
Shweta Sehrawat took the Women's Under-19 T20 World Cup 2023 by storm with her spectacular performances. The 18-year-old was the leading run-getter of the competition, having plundered 297 runs in seven matches at a strike rate of 139.43.
When India locked horns with South Africa in the third match of the marquee tournament, Sehrawat put up an exhibition of her swashbuckling stroke play and hammered an unbeaten 92 off just 57 balls. Again in the semi-final clash against New Zealand, she played a brilliant knock under pressure, as her unbeaten 61 off 45 took India across the line.
Sehrawat has the ability to bat in the top and middle order and thus, she gives versatility to the batting line-up. Given the youngster was the chief architect of India’s glorious run at the T20 extravaganza, many WPL franchises might raise their paddle to sign her at the forthcoming auction.
