2. Shafali Verma

Shafali Verma played an instrumental role in helping Delhi reach the final for two consecutive seasons. She notched up 309 runs in nine matches of the competition, at a breathtaking strike rate of 156.85. Along with her in-form skipper Meg Lanning, she delivered sensational starts to the side consistently as an opener.
In Delhi’s initial games, Verma was the one who looked more attacking than her captain. Following the failure in the opening match, she hit two consecutive fifties in her team’s one-sided wins. The 20-year-old was also the highest run-scorer for Delhi in the final with her 44-run knock that came in just 27 deliveries.
