WPL 2027 Auction: 5 uncapped Indian players who could attract big bids
With 97 uncapped Indian players in the pool, these five names stand out ahead of the WPL 2027 auction in Kochi on October 28.
Ira Jadhav
Ira Jadhav is a right-hand batter and right-arm fast-medium bowler listed at a base price of ₹10 lakh. At just 15 years of age, she is among the youngest players in the entire auction pool, with Wisden's auction records noting her age as 16.
She announced herself emphatically in the U-19 Women's One-Day Trophy, where she struck 346 runs from 157 deliveries, a return that drew widespread attention to her attacking instincts. Franchises with an eye on long-term squad building are expected to view her as a worthwhile investment given those numbers at such a young age.
