3. Shweta Sehrawat — Mumbai Indians
Mumbai Indians secured Shweta Sehrawat for INR 20 lakh at the WPL 2027 auction. The young batter had previously been with UP Warriorz for four seasons, playing 30 games and scoring 307 runs in that time.
Notably, UP Warriorz had chosen to retain Sehrawat ahead of the WPL 2026 auction, releasing even Deepti Sharma, who had won the Player of the Tournament award at the recent ODI World Cup. Mumbai Indians' decision to bring her in at her base price looks a shrewd piece of recruitment.
