Chris Lynn chose Lasith Malinga, Mitchell Starc and Jasprit Bumrah as his three pacers in all-time T20 XI.
In an exclusive interaction with CricTracker, Australian opener Chris Lynn revealed his all-time T20 XI, making some bold calls by leaving out Indian greats Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli. Lynn selected West Indies legend Chris Gayle and Australian star David Warner as his opening pair, citing their consistency and dominance at the top of the order. Gayle has amassed 14,562 runs in 463 T20 matches, while Warner has scored 14,028 runs across 432 games.
At No.3, Lynn picked former New Zealand captain Brendon McCullum, crediting him as one of the pioneers who shaped modern T20 cricket. He highlighted McCullum’s iconic knock in the very first IPL match for Kolkata Knight Riders, which played a crucial role in the league’s growth and enduring popularity.
For the middle order, Lynn opted for a power-packed trio of AB de Villiers, Kieron Pollard, and Dwayne Bravo. De Villiers scored close to 10,000 runs in T20 cricket and was renowned for his innovation and adaptability. Pollard made significant contributions with both bat and ball, scoring 14,482 runs and taking 333 wickets in T20s, while Bravo’s all-round excellence is reflected in his record 631 T20 wickets.
