POTM RASHID KHAN SAID:
"Winning the game is more pleasing for me. Happy that I landed the ball where I wanted today and that gave me energy with the bat as well maybe. I haven't bowled much in the last 3-4 months after the surgery and I just lost a bit of grip on the ball and I had a good session after the last game and it really helped me to get back to my best. I really enjoyed my bowling today. It was just a matter of hitting 3-4 sixes and you need to stay positive," Rashid said.
WINNING SKIPPER SHUBMAN GILL SAID:
"We were targetting 45 in 3 overs and it is very much gettable and that was the mindset at that time. Mathematically both batters needed to hit 22 off 9 balls and that's how the thinking goes and if one batter goes berserk that will do. I would have loved to finish the game, but very happy with Rahul and Rashid bhai for finishing the job for us. Winning the ball off the last ball is always a great feeling. He (Rashid Khan) is someone who you always want in your team, he is such a competitor," Gill said.
Losing skipper Sanju Samson said:
"I think the last ball of the game (where was the game lost?). Very hard to speak at the moment. Hardest job in the tournament when a captain loses the game and has to tell where the game was lost. When the emotions come down I'll be able to tell clearly. Have to give credit to the Gujarat Titans. That's the beauty of this tournament. Will have to learn and move on. While I was batting I thought something around 180 would've been a fighting score. 196 was a winning score I thought. With no dew, our bowling lineup should've done it. It wasn't easy to go hard at the start of the innings. 197 at Jaipur, without dew, we'll take it any day," Samson said.
GT WIN BY THREE WICKETS
Rashid Khan hit the winning runs to end Rajasthan's winning streak in IPL 2024. GT won by three wickets. Massive victory for the visitors.
DRAMAAAAA!
GT batters tried to run three with four remaining but Tewatia fell short. GOODNESS ME! Two runs are needed off the final delivery.
UFF, WHAT HAVE WE GOT!
20 runs off the over. Boy, GT are 182/6 after 19 overs. 15 runs to get in the final over.
Eight runs off the over
GT are 162/8 after 18 overs. 35 runs are needed to win in 12 balls.
SHAHRUKH DEPARTS!
In-form batter Shahrukh Khan departed for 14 runs. Avesh Khan picked up an important wicket. He decided to review it but three reds.

Chahal had the last laugh
After hitting two back-to-back boundaries, Gill had the upper hand but Chahal bowled wide this time as Samson collected it to stump him. Gill departed for 72 runs as GT are 133/5
End of the 15th over
GT are 124/4

GT need more of such overs. End of 13th over, GT are 102/3
The 2022 finalists are all set to face each other on April 10, at the renowned Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur. Under the leadership of Sanju Samson, Rajasthan Royals (RR) have been unbeaten in the ongoing season while Gujarat Titans (GT) have faced a lot of turbulence since Hardik Pandya left to join Mumbai Indians. Their bowling attack looks more or less sorted with Rashid Khan, Mohit Sharma and Darshan Nalkande in good form but the batting unit needs to step up.
Skipper Shubman Gill has blown hot and cold this season while other batters barring Sai Sudharsan have been inconsistent, which is a major concern for the side. It is time for them to make some changes and bring the likes of Shah Rukh Khan and Abhinav Manohar into the team, as they have the experience of delivering in crunch situations.
Rajasthan, on the other hand, have all bases covered. Trent Boult and Nandre Burger have been brilliant with the new ball, while Yuzvendra Chahal is once again the man behind RR’s success in the middle overs. The only issue they had was Jos Buttler’s form but against Royal Challengers Bengaluru in the last match, the England skipper hit a brilliant century, following which, he would be confident of doing well for the remainder of the season.
Skipper Sanju Samson and youngster Riyan Parag have been in good form as well while Shimron Hetmyer has proved to be extremely dangerous. Yashasvi Jaiswal’s form is a bit of a concern but the youngster is talented enough to get out of the rough patch sometime soon.
Probable Playing XI:
Rajasthan Royals:
Yashasvi Jaiswal, Jos Buttler, Sanju Samson (wk/c), Riyan Parag, Dhruv Jurel, Shimron Hetmyer, Ravichandran Ashwin, Trent Boult, Avesh Khan, Nandre Burger, Yuzvendra Chahal.
Gujarat Titans:
Shubman Gill (c), Sharath BR (wk), Sai Sudharsan, Shah Rukh Khan, Rahul Tewatia, Rashid Khan, Noor Ahmad, Umesh Yadav, Spencer Johnson, Darshan Nalkande, Mohit Sharma.
