Champions for a reason !!

Who would have thought that Gujarat Titans would win this game in such a dominating way? True CHAMPIONS. Vijay Shankar and David Miller showed no respect for KKR's spinner. Unreal hitting. #KKRvsGT #IPL2023

The 39th match of the Indian Premier League 2023 will see Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) lock horns with Gujarat Titans (GT) at the Eden Gardens, Kolkata. The Knight Riders are coming off a huge win over the Royal Challengers Bangalore where they posted a total of 200 thanks to Jason Roy and captain Nitish Rana who scored 56(29) and 48(21) respectively.

Their spin department is looking much more stronger with the addition of Suyash Sharma along with the experienced duo of Varun Chakaravarthy and Sunil Narine. Their worry would be on how to improve their pace attack who go for plenty of runs in most of the games.

Gujarat Titans, on the other end are also coming off a huge victory against the Mumbai Indians where the trio of Shubman Gill, David Miller and Abhinav Manohar took the MI bowling attack to the cleanest.

The last time these two teams met, the game ended up in a nightmare for GT as Yash Dayal let the game slip off in the final over, thanks to Rinku Singh smashing 5 sixes of the final 5 balls to help KKR register a famous victory. This time however, expect a battle between Venkatesh Iyer and Shubman Gill who are in the race to get the IPL Orange Cup.
