India secured a remarkable victory over Pakistan by six wickets in the second Super Four match of the Asia Cup 2025 at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium on Sunday, September 21. Indian skipper Suryakumar Yadav had won the toss and chose to field first.
Pakistan posted 171/5 in their 20 overs. Sahibzada Farhan led the charge with a well-crafted 58 off 45 balls, while Shivam Dube was the pick of the Indian bowlers, taking a couple of important wickets for 33 runs in his four-over spell.
Chasing 172, India got off to a blazing start, with Shubman Gill and Abhishek Sharma putting together a 105-run opening partnership. Gill scored 47 off 28 balls, while Abhishek contributed 74 from 39 balls.
Indian skipper Suryakumar Yadav and Sanju Samson fell cheaply, but Tilak Varma held his nerve at the crease. He finished the match with an unbeaten 30 off 19 balls, guiding India to a comfortable six-wicket victory and handing the Men in Blue their second win over Pakistan in this Asia Cup.

Indian opener Abhishek Sharma played a blazing innings to bring India close to victory. The left-hander scored 74 off 39 balls, smashing six fours and five sixes at a strike rate of 189.74, keeping the chase firmly on track.
3. Tilak finishes in style for Men in Blue
Indian middle-order batter Tilak Varma played a calm and composed innings, anchoring the chase as the required runs came under control. The left-hander remained unbeaten on 30 off 19 balls, guiding India to a six-wicket victory over Pakistan.
