Australia A to face off against India A on Wednesday in first WT20

India and Australia are all set to battle with their 'A' teams in the upcoming multi-format series down under. The series will be played starting with the shortest format first, which will then be followed by one-dayers, and a four-day Test match to draw curtains on the series.

This exciting women's 'A' series marks the start of Australia's blockbuster international cricket summer. 

Australia A, led by Tahlia McGrath, will play India A in three T20 matches and three one-day matches. The series begins on Wednesday at Brisbane's AB Field.

India, on the other hand, will be captained by Minnu Mani. The visiting side has included Shabnam Shakeel in the squad, but her availability is subject to fitness. However, Saima Thakor has been kept as a standby player just in case an unavailability occurs.

All three T20 matches will start at 1 pm local time. The only four-day match will commence on August 22 at Gold Coast District Cricket Club.
