After suffering a rare defeat at the hands of Bangladesh in the first ODI, all eyes will be on the Indian side in the upcoming second ODI with the series on-line for the visitors. A top-order collapse followed by some soft dismissals led to India getting wrapped up for 186 with the bat. Bangladesh chased down the target with one wicket in hand, thanks to a fantastic partnership for the tenth wicket between Mehidy Hasan and Mustafizur Rahman.

Shakib Al Hasan picked up a five-wicket haul while Ebadot Hossain picked up four wickets to dismantle the Indian batting line-up. KL Rahul was the only limelight for India in the batting order as he stepped up when the team needed him to. The Karntaka lad's innings of 73 off 70 balls in the middle order was a massive boost to the management.

The second ODI will take place at the same venue, Sher-e-Bangla Stadium in Dhaka and the pacers are likely to get some extra bounce just like in the first ODI. Spinners will also be effective because of the amount of turn on offer. All in all, the upcoming fixture is expected to be a great contest between bat and ball.

Unlike the recent New Zealand series, rain hasn’t played spoilsport in the ongoing series for India and a similar kind of weather is expected in the second game. India will have to win the upcoming ODI to stay alive in the three-match series.

Here’s the weather report for the second ODI between India and Bangladesh

According to accuweather.com, the average temperature on the day will be 29 degrees Celsius while it will drop to 17 degrees at night. The air quality will remain quite unhealthy while the precipitation factor will be zero percent which rules out any chances of rain. 28 percent of cloud cover will certainly help the fast bowlers to swing the ball upfront. Dew did not play a big part in the first ODI, however, it could become a decisive factor in the second ODI with the humidity percentage being 55.
