The second season of the Delhi Premier League (DPL) 2025 gets underway on Saturday, August 2. Like last season, eight teams will be battling it out to lift the coveted title. The final match will be played on August 31 at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi.

Eight teams are distributed into two groups, each playing three teams from their group twice and the four in the other group once. Four teams at the end of the league stage will make it to the playoffs, before clashing in the knockouts. Notably. The women's tournament will take place from August 17. All the matches of the tournament will be played at the iconic Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi.

The big names to feature in this league are Nitish Rana, Ishant Sharma, Digvesh Rathi, Anuj Rawat, Navdeep Saini, Ayush Badoni, Harshit Rana, Priyansh Arya, Suyash Sharma, Vansh Bedi, and more. Indian star Rishabh Pant, who was expected to play for Purani Dilli 6, has been ruled out of the season after suffering a foot fracture during the ongoing Anderson-Tendulkar Trophy.
