BharatPe co-founder and managing director Ashneer Grover has jokingly said that the real reason behind his absence from the second season of Shark Tank India is the aura that he created in the opening season. At the same time, Grover also went on to equate his dominance on the show with that of batting megastar Virat Kohli scoring a triple century for Bhopal.

Ashneer Grover became famous as one of the judges in Shark Tank India Season One for his straight forward verdicts to budding entrepreneurs regarding their product ideas. At the same time, he was also subjected to hilarious social media memes with regard to his statements made on the show.

I’m not going to talk much about it: Ashneer Grover

“I’m not going to talk much about it but the simple thing is if Kohli plays for Bhopal and scores 300 runs then he’s dominating. So now he should play for India. Similarly, I think the concept of the show was like that. I’m not saying others are less, but I was more,” said Grover while speaking on ‘Genuine Bande’.

“I dominated the show last year, and this year everyone would have come in and said, we want Ashneer sir. That wouldn’t have looked nice because of the domination," he added.

Meanwhile, Virat Kohli is currently a part of the Indian team for the ongoing home ODI series against Sri Lanka. While the 34-year-old had scored 113 in the first game, he was sent back for just four runs against his name in the last match.

By the virtue of his 113-run knock in Guwahati, Virat succeeded in registering his 45th century in One Day Internationals and 73rd  century in international cricket. The batting icon would be eyeing another impactful knock when both sides lock horns in the third and final ODI at the Greenfield International Stadium in Thiruvananthapuram on Sunday, January 15. India have already sealed the series 2-0.
