Georgia Voll struck an unbeaten 131 off 97 balls to guide Australia to a nine-wicket victory over Bangladesh in the second women's ODI at Allan Border Field on October 11, 2026. The result gave Australia an unassailable 2-0 lead in the three-match series, with one game still to be played.

Voll, who had missed the opening ODI, returned to the side and produced a commanding knock in her 15th ODI appearance. It was her third century in the format, and she was named Player of the Match for her effort.

Phoebe Litchfield provided strong support at the top of the order, scoring 70 off 51 deliveries. The pair added 162 runs in 19.5 overs for the first wicket, laying the foundation for a comfortable chase. Ellyse Perry then helped Voll complete the chase with 131 balls to spare.

For Georgia Voll, the century was her third in ODIs and a particularly satisfying one. Having been dismissed for 101 on two previous occasions in the format, the Australian batter went past the mark this time, remaining unbeaten on 131. Her match-winning effort also earned her the Player of the Match award.

Speaking after the match, Voll reflected on the partnership with Phoebe Litchfield and her stand with Ellyse Perry to finish the chase.

“It was good. After them batting the 50 and having a really good partnership, we knew it was a good wicket. Myself and Phoebe started well. We love batting together, so to put on a partnership like that was pretty cool. To finish it off with Pez (Ellyse Perry )was great,” Voll said post-match.

How did Bangladesh set their total?

Bangladesh were put into bat and found themselves in early trouble, losing three wickets for just eight runs as Megan Schutt and Kim Garth dismantled the top order. A recovery was needed, and it came undoubtedly.

Sobhana Mostary and captain Nigar Sultana Joty combined for a fourth-wicket stand of 195 runs, which is the highest partnership in Bangladesh women's ODI history. Mostary scored 118, the highest individual score ever recorded by a Bangladesh batter in women's ODIs, while Joty contributed 74 not out. Bangladesh ultimately posted 220 for 6 from their 50 overs.

Chasing 221, Australia's openers were measured in their approach before accelerating. Voll had previously been dismissed on 101 twice in ODI cricket, making this unbeaten knock her first time going beyond that mark and converting it into a completed century.

The victory was also Australia's 23rd consecutive win at Allan Border Field, underlining their dominance at the venue.
