It is the last day of the first Test between England and India, with the match very much in the balance. The visitors have set a steep target of 371 and will be looking to bowl them out as soon as possible. This is a crucial day for both teams, who have a chance to win and take an early lead in the five-match series.

England would like to make it a record-breaking chase, and the fans would love to see a great game of cricket. It is also important that the weather stays clear at Headingley as well. Though the weather seems a bit sketchy, the people will be praying that the weather gods do not affect a game that is currently at an interesting position right now.

The England team has to chase down 371 on the final day, which will be their highest successful chase at Headingley, overtaking the iconic chase during the third Test match of the 2019 Ashes. The Ben Stokes-led side will be hoping that a downpour does not affect the game, and they could achieve another historic chase in Leeds.

A cloudy theme at Leeds

The story at Leeds is a cloudy affair right now, and there is a chance of precipitation. The temperature at Leeds is 19°C with 78% humidity. However, there is zero percent precipitation at the venue, which is one of the biggest positives of the game. While the reports suggest that there will be chances of only a little rain at 6 pm, the conditions do not look very promising with a sea of clouds hovering over the iconic field.

These overcast conditions could also mean that there could be some challenges the batters could face on the last day, with the match on the line. It is a match where all three results are possible on the final day, and the players will be looking to make the most of it before the rain gods spoil the party for them.
