India's very own Mr 360 Suryakumar Yadav just doesn't cease to amaze spectators everytime he walks into the middle to bat. The wide array of shots that he has are second to none and the powerhitter gave a glimpse of the same when he came to bat in the first T20I against New Zealand in Ranchi.

While batting on the second delivery of the fifth over, Suryakumar helped a delivery from Lockie Ferguson over the fine leg boundary for a breathtaking six. It wasn't really a bad delivery from Ferguson but Suryakumar shuffled towards the off stump slightly and guided the ball on the on side for a splendid six.

Earlier in the game, India skipper Hardik Pandya won the toss and put the visitors into bat first. Riding on the half-centuries from opener Devon Conway (52 off 35 balls) and Daryl Mitchell (59 off 30 balls) New Zealand scored 176 runs for the loss of six wickets in their 20 overs.

In reply, India's top order fell like a pack of cards and in just 3.1 overs the Men in Blue got reduced to 15 for the loss of three wickets, with openers Shubman Gill, Ishan Kishan and Rahul Tripathi back in the hut. The hosts tried to script a fightback with Suryakumar Yadav and Hardik Pandya adding 68 runs for the fourth wicket but as soon as both the batters got dismissed India's run chase got derailed badly.

Washington Sundar, who was impressive with the ball with two wickets in his four overs, stood up to the challenge with the bat in hand and scored a praiseworthy half-century off just 25 balls. He fought valiantly but couldn't get his team over the line as India lost the contest by 21 runs at the end.
