India get off to solid start
Ben Stokes won the toss and opted to bowl first. However, his pacers haven't been able to make early inroads, with KL Rahul and Yashasvi Jaiswal notching up a 44-run stand heading into the first official Drinks Break of the five-match series.

Jaiswal has been the more flamboyant of the two batters. He has continued from where he left off in the Border-Gavaskar series earlier this year. While some balls have swung prodigiously, the conditions have looked sublime for batting. Rahul and Jaiswal would want to convert their starts into big scores.
