Former India pacer Siddarth Kaul registers for BBL 2025-26 draft
15 Indian women register their names for the WBBL 2025-26 draft.
Siddarth Kaul, James Anderson, Naveen-ul-Haq, Agha Ali Salman, and Niroshan Dickwella are some of the players to have registered their names in the BBL 2025-26 season's draft, which has over 600 players in it. Kaul, who has played for India in three ODIs and T20Is each at the highest level, retired from international cricket and made himself available for overseas leagues.
As the BCCI stipulates that no Indian player can take part in overseas leagues, Kaul decided to retire, sensing his chances of an India comeback sniff. He is the only Indian player to register his name in the BBL 2025-26 draft. On the other hand, Anderson, at the age of 43, might become the oldest player in BBL's history if he gets picked up.
A total of 178 players from England, 74 from Pakistan, 42 from the West Indies, and 13 players from Sri Lanka have registered their names for the drafts.

For the WBBL 2025-26 draft, 46 players from England, 15 from India and New Zealand each, and 11 players from Pakistan have registered their names.
Some of the Indian players have been a part of the WBBL in the past, such as Smriti Mandhana, Harmanpreet Kaur, Jemimah Rodrigues, Deepti Sharma, and others.
