India vs Australia 2023: India’s strongest predicted playing XI against Australia

India take on Australia in the second T20I of the series on November 26.

After their dominating win in the first T20 of the five-match match series, India would be looking to continue their good form in the second match of the series. Suryakumar Yadav, Ishan Kishan, and Rinku Singh were the stars of the first game but players like Ruturaj Gaikwad, Yashasvi Jaiswal, and Tilak Verma would be eager to showcase their form in the upcoming match.

Here's India's Predicted XI against Australia: 

Openers: Ruturaj Gaikwad, Yashasvi Jaiswal

India will open with star batters Ruturaj Gaikwad and Yashasvi Jaiswal. In the previous match, Ruturaj was run out without facing a single ball, courtesy of a misunderstanding between him and Jaiswal. He will eager to showcase his class in the upcoming match.

Ishan Kishan played a brilliant 58-run knock of 39 balls with two fours and five sixes in the last game. His excellent partnership with captain Suryakumar was the turning point of the match. He would be looking to continue his good form.

Middle Order: Ishan Kishan (wk), Suryakumar Yadav (c), Tilak Varma, Rinku Singh

The middle order is where India will look to shine. Skipper Suryakuma played an amazing knock in the last game to secure a victory for the Indian team. He scored 80 of just 42 balls with nine fours and four sixes. His ability to play unorthodox shots makes him a difficult batter to bowl for any bowlers. 

Tilak Varma could not perform as per expectations in the previous game as he got out for just 12 off 10 balls . He had a great opportunity to showcase his talent but failed to do so. Now going forward, he would be looking to play a decent knock to contribute to India's success.

Rinku was the one who finished the game on the last ball as he played a brilliant 22 not out of 14 balls to win the game for the Indian team. India were under some pressure, but he showcased composure and kept his cool to win the match for the team.

All-rounder: Axar Patel

Ace all-rounder Axar Patel will be looking to perform well with both bat and ball after going wicketless in the first game. In terms of his batting, and could not deliver when it was necessary to finish the game for the team. He would be eager to improve his performance in the upcoming match.

Bowlers: Ravi Bishnoi, Arshdeep Singh, Prasidh Krishna and Mukesh Kumar

The Indian bowling lineup will comprise ofArshdeep Singh, Ravi Bishnoi, Prasidh Krishna, and Mukesh Kumar. Ravi Bishnoi would want aims to improve his performance after the first T20I, where he conceded 54 runs in his four-over quota and missed a few chances in the field as well.

Arshdeep also proved to be quite expensive in the last game. Hhe bowled two good overs with the new ball, but gave away too many freebies for the Aussie batters to capitalize on at the death. Meanwhile, having travelled with the team in the ODI World Cup 2023, Prasidh Krishna had a disappointing outing in the first game, conceding 50 runs for jsut one wicket. He would be eager to bounce back and improve in the second game.

Even though Mukesh did not take any wickets in the first game, he was the standout bowler for India. His brilliant death bowling was the main reason India could restrict the Aussies below 210; otherwise, they were on track to easily cross the 230-run mark.
