Ravisrinivasan Sai Kishore stands out as a key player for Gujarat Titans (GT) in the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL 2024). The left-arm spinner showcased his bowling prowess in GT's clash against Punjab Kings (PBKS), playing a pivotal role in his team's three-wicket victory at the Maharaja Yadavindra Singh International Cricket Stadium in Mullanpur, Mohali on Sunday, April 21.

The 27-year-old combined forces with fellow spinners and the Afghan duo of Noor Ahmad and Rashid Khan, allowing GT to restrict Punjab to a below-par score of 142 runs. Kishore, hailing from Chennai, finished with excellent figures of 4/33 in his full quota, maintaining an economy rate of 8.25. Notably, this marked his first four-fer in the cash-rich league. Remarkably, his match-winning performance was duly recognized, earning him the Player of the Match award.

He has consistently showcased excellence in all the matches he has played for the Titans this season. Despite playing in only three games for GT, he ranks as their fourth-highest wicket-taker, having claimed a total of six wickets at an average of 14.16 and an economy rate of 7.72. Moreoever, in his debut season for GT in 2022, he has claimed a total of six wickets in five games.

Sai Kishore made international debut in 2023

Ravisrinivasan Sai Kishore made his international debut during the 2023 Asian Games held at Hangzhou in China, against Nepal. He was a member of the Indian squad, led by Ruturaj Gaikwad, which secured the Gold medal at the continental multi-sport event.

The 27-year-old plays for Tamil Nadu in domestic cricket and currently serves as their captain in the Ranji Trophy. Under his leadership, Tamil Nadu advanced to the semi-final, although defeated by eventual champions Mumbai. Additionally, he emerged as the leading wicket-taker in the tournament, claiming 53 wickets in nine matches at an average of 18.52 and an impressive economy rate of 2.55.
