IPL 2025: Singer B Praak to perform at Dharamsala ahead of PBKS vs DC game as tribute to Indian Armed Forces

The Punjab Kings (PBKS) will be hosting the Delhi Capitals (DC) at the HPCA Stadium in Dharamsala on Thursday, May 8. It is set to be an exciting game between two teams who are fighting for a place in the playoffs and will want to make the most of all their games at the business end of the tournament.
Meanwhile, the game will feature a performance from famous Bollywood singer B Praak, who is known for his iconic patriotic and cultural songs such as ‘Teri Mitti’ and ‘Mann Bharya’. The BCCI announced the development earlier today. The performance at Dharamsala appears to be to pay tribute to the Indian Armed Forces for their success in eliminating major terrorist camps through Operation Sindoor.
“Dharamshala, get ready to sing with pride! B Praak brings the nation's sound on a night of patriotism and notes echoing India’s spirit. With soulful melodies and powerful anthems, unite to celebrate our great culture. "A tribute to the heart of Bharat,” read a statement from the IPL.

162PBKS and DC’s position in the tournament
Speaking of the performances of both teams in the tournament so far, the PBKS franchise is currently third on the points table with seven wins, three losses and one game resulting in a no result in the 11 games they have played with 15 points on the board.
The Delhi Capitals have also played 11 games with six wins, four losses and one no result with 13 points to their name and are currently fifth on the points table. The next three games for both these teams will be crucial to ensure they have a place in the playoffs of the Indian Premier League (IPL) this season.
