New Zealand will tour Pakistan for a two-match Test series followed by an ODI series later this month. The hosts, who are currently engaged in a Test series against Ben Stokes' marauding English outfit, will welcome the Kiwis after the visitors pulled out of their white-ball tour due to a security concern last year.

The Kiwis will commence the tour with the first of two Tests in Karachi under the new leadership of veteran pacer Tim Southee after Kane Williamson stepped down from his role earlier this month. The first Test will begin on the 26th of December and will be followed by a Test in Multan, commencing on January 3.

Meanwhile, the hosts will be eyeing a quick turnaround after a humiliating series defeat at the hands of England. Babar Azam's men failed to win a single Test match against the visiting English side, who played some swashbuckling cricket on their way to a historic white-wash. The Asian outfit will need to pull up their socks for the upcoming tour after slipping into the WTC points table.
