Over 6,000 security personnel are gearing up for action in Ahmedabad, ready to guard the bustling Narendra Modi Stadium during the thrilling World Cup final clash between powerhouse India and the formidable Australia on November 19. Ahmedabad Commissioner of Police, GS Malik, revealed that the grand finale at Motera will witness the presence of bigwigs like PM Narendra Modi and Australian Deputy PM Richard Marles. They're all set to join the epic cricketing showdown.
Malik, in a press briefing, highlighted the meticulous security setup comprising Gujarat police, Rapid Action Force (RAF), and home guards. This extensive arrangement caters to the massive influx of over one lakh enthusiastic spectators and the esteemed presence of dignitaries gracing the stadium. Their focus would be ensuring a smooth match while safeguarding everyone involved in this cricketing spectacle.
"Over 6,000 police personnel will be deployed to ensure that the mega event passes off without any trouble. Of these 6,000 personnel, nearly 3,000 will be stationed inside the stadium, while others will be deployed to guard other key locations, such as hotels where players and other dignitaries are staying," said Malik as quoted by NDTV.

They're all set to grace the stadium with their presence, adding to the grandeur of this cricketing extravaganza.
Before the game kicks off on Sunday at the colossal 1.32-lakh capacity stadium, fans can catch the renowned Indian Air Force's Surya Kiran aerobatics team dazzling the skies with their air show. The match is slated to begin at 2 pm, setting the stage for an electrifying showdown. The unbeatable Indian side has maintained a perfect record, triumphing in all 10 matches they've played in this tournament so far.
