Ahead of the eagerly awaited ICC T20 World Cup 2022 encounter between Pakistan and England at the MCG on Sunday, November 13, former Pakistan skipper Inzamam-ul-Haq has confidently said that Pakistan's bowling attack is way better compared to India's.

Inzamam’s remarks came after the Men in Blue’s humiliating ten-wicket defeat to England in the second semifinal at the Adelaide Oval which not only saw some lackluster bowling performances but also below-par fielding efforts as well.

India face problems whenever there is a big match- Inzamam-ul-Haq

“India face problems whenever there is a big match and I have been observing this since the Asia Cup. (Jos) Buttler and (Alex) Hales showcased outstanding batting performances. However, our bowling performances are way better than India and we will not perform like this in the final,” said Inzamam-ul-Haq while speaking in a press conference video posted by Pakistan's 24 News HD.

Chasing 169, the English openers were on the attack right from the word ‘go’ as Alex Hales and Jos Buttler completely took the Indian pacers out of the game with their power-hitting skills.

Senior pacer Bhuvneshwar Kumar conceded 25 runs off his first two overs as the Three Lions raced away to 63 runs in the powerplay without losing a wicket.

There was no looking back from there on for England as they kept playing their aggressive brand of cricket and the Indian bowlers were clueless about picking up wickets as even the spin combination of Ravichandran Ashwin and Axar Patel was milked for runs.

In the end, England comfortably chased down the target with a good four overs to spare to knock India out of the tournament. The loss has now extended India’s ICC title drought as they are yet to win a major silverware since the 2013 ICC Champions Trophy.

Apart from the semis, India's bowling was also exposed during the Super 12 fixture against Bangladesh at the very same venue where opener Litton Das's pyrotechnics powered Bangladesh to 60/0 in six overs.
