ZEE NEWS conducts sting operation on Chetan Sharma; chief selector makes startling revelations

The incumbent chief of the selection committee, Chetan Sharma has reportedly found himself at the receiving end of a massive sting operation conducted by ZEE NEWS. As per ZEE NEWS, the chairman of the selection committee has made numerous startling revelations.

The news organisation has claimed that Chetan has talked about the use of fake fitness injections in team India. In addition to that, it has also been reported that he has revealed the main reason behind the fallout between India's batting maestro Virat Kohli and former BCCI chief Sourav Ganguly.

As far as taking fake fitness injections is concerned, Chetan has claimed that the Board of Control for Cricket in India is aware of the same. Speaking on the Virat Kohli and Sourav Ganguly row, Chetan has mentioned that Virat felt that he lost his captaincy because of the former BCCI president Ganguly.

As per ZEE NEWS, Chetan also touched upon the bonding between Virat Kohli and the incumbent skipper of team India, Rohit Sharma. The 57-year-old revealed that there is no rift as such between both India batters but there is ego. He also drew their comparison with Amitabh Bachchan and Dharmendra.

Chetan Sharma was reappointed as the chairman of the senior men's selection committee by the BCCI on Saturday, January 7. He was on the verge of getting axed by the BCCI after India's dismal performance in the semi-finals of the T20 World Cup 2022 in Australia.

India had lost the second semi-final versus England by a humiliating margin of ten wickets as both Alex Hales and skipper Jos Buttler had chased down 169 with ease and had finished the run chase unscathed. There was a lot of commotion after India's unceremonious exit and there were a lot of rumours floating in the air that Chetan might end up losing his job. But to everyone's surprise he was re-elected to take the selection committee forward in a new direction.
