'Retired players do not hate Virat Kohli' - Robin Uthappa bashes fan for harsh allegation
Uthappa claimed that former players do not have any hatred towards the legend. However, the cricketer-turned-expert said that he is entitled to have opinions about the stalwart.
Virat Kohli has been a linchpin for Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) in the ongoing edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL). He has amassed 614 runs from 14 innings at an average of 55.82 and a strike rate of 146.54, including eight half-centuries.
Recently, Robin Uthappa claimed that former players do not have any hatred towards the legend. However, the cricketer-turned-expert said that he is entitled to have opinions about the stalwart. Uthappa remarks came after a fan claimed that former cricketers were biased towards the RCB star.
"It's incredible how you stated we're all failed ex-cricketers. I would love to understand your definition of success in life. I have answered this multiple times. I don't think any of us, including me, hate Virat Kohli," Uthappa said in a video on his YouTube channel.
"There are certain things we disagree with him about, and I think that is perfectly fine, and we can all exist in a world where we can agree to disagree with each other. There is absolutely nothing wrong with that," he added.

I was devastated after the IPL 2009 final: Robin Uthappa
Uthappa and Kohli spent two seasons - 2008 and 2009 - playing side by side at RCB. In 2009, RCB made it to the finals but lost to Deccan Chargers. Uthappa explained how shattered he was after that defeat.
"I was devastated. I was frustrated for a whole week; the less I say, the better. I was absolutely devastated after the 2009 finals. Took me a long time to recover from that one," said Uthappa.
Meanwhile, RCB has made it to their fourth IPL final and have a golden opportunity to lift their long-awaited first title. They will square off against Punjab Kings in the summit clash on Tuesday, June 3, at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.
