It is worth noting that India’s T20 World Cup win in the USA and the West Indies was the side’s first since 2007, and the Siddhivinayak temple is well known to be a spiritual destination for celebrities and devotees alike to host a special pooja for the silverware.

India gear up for upcoming assignments

Speaking of team India, the side is currently taking a break after their recent white-ball series against Sri Lanka. The side defeated Sri Lanka in the T20I series but faced defeat in the ODI series.

After a break, the side will shift their focus to the longer format. India will take on Bangladesh in a multi-format series. It will kick off with two Test matches from September 19.

After the two Tests, India will face Bangladesh across three T20I matches, which will be held on October 6, 9, and 12. Furthermore, after the Bangladesh series, India will take on New Zealand before touring Australia for the Border-Gavaskar series in 2024–25.

The side will hope to get good practice ahead of their tough tours, most of the focus will be on the BGT 2024-25. India have won the last two series they played in Australia and the side will be looking to make it a hat trick.
