T20 World Cup 2026 Schedule Announcement: Where to Watch Live - TV, Online, and Live Streaming Details for Viewers in India

The schedule and venues for the T20 World Cup 2026 are all set to be released on November 25 (Tuesday).

The 2026 edition, like the 2024 one, will be a 20-team affair with five teams placed across four groups. The group fixtures will be followed by the Super Eight stage and the knockouts - semi-finals and final. 

The marquee showdown between India and Pakistan is scheduled to take place on February 15 in Colombo. India and Pakistan have bene grouped alongside Namibia, USA and Netherlands, as per an ESPNcricinfo report. The defending champions are likely to take on USA in Mumbai on the opening day of the month-long tournament. The summit clash is expected to be slated for March 8.

The announcement event will feature Rohit Sharma, Suryakumar Yadav, Angelo Mathews and Harmanpreet Kaur. The occasion will also be telecasted on Star Sports 1 (Hindi), Star Sports 2 (Hindi), Star Sports 2, Star Sports 3 and JioHotstar.

Notably, India won their second-ever T20 World Cup in 2024 by defeating South Africa in the final in Barbados by seven runs. It was a close-fought clash in a tournament where the Rohit Sharma-led unit went unbeaten throughout. Rohit along with Virat Kohli in addition with Ravindra Jadeja announced their retirement from the format after winning the trophy.

Meanwhile, the Suryakumar Yadav-led India will be expected to go the distance once again, this time around at home.
