Video of the Day - Asia Cup 2025: Tanzim Hasan castles Babar with unplayable yorker
Tanzim Hasan Sakib returned with figures of 2/21 in his four-over spell.
Bangladesh pacer Tanzim Hasan Sakib produced a memorable moment in Match No. 3 of the Asia Cup 2025 against Hong Kong at the Zayed Cricket Stadium, Abu Dhabi on September 11. After being hit for a six by Babar Hayat earlier in the over, Sakib struck back immediately to dismiss the right-hander in stunning fashion.
Bangladesh skipper Litton Das had opted to field first after winning the toss, and Taskin Ahmed provided the initial breakthrough. Sakib, coming in for his second over, faced pressure when Hayat lofted him for a maximum over long-on off the third ball. However, the very next delivery turned the contest on its head.
Pitching around middle stump, the ball swung away late, deceiving Hayat as he advanced down the track. Attempting to work it to the leg side, he missed completely, and the ball crashed into middle and off. Sakib celebrated passionately to Hayat’s face as he walked back disappointed.

Mustafizur's unbelievable running-from-behind catch
The left-arm pacer Mustafizur Rahman pulled off a stunning catch to dismiss Zeeshan Ali in the 12th over. Tanzim delivered the third ball of the over, which nipped back toward leg stump. Cramped for room, Zeeshan tried to back away and smash it down the ground, but the extra bounce caused him to miscue the shot. Mustafizur sprinted back to his left from mid-wicket and judged the ball perfectly, completing a sharp catch over his shoulder. The brilliant effort handed Sakib his second wicket of the match.
