Yash Dayal struck early to get rid of Priyansh Arya in Qualifier 1 of IPL 2025 between Punjab Kings and Royal Challengers Bengaluru at the Mullanpur Cricket Stadium. The 23-year-old departed after scoring seven runs off five deliveries.

2Dayal secured his second breakthrough in his third over as Nehal Wadhera (eight off 10) fell victim to a half-hearted drive, which ended up disturbing his stumps. Wadhera was the fifth batter to fall for PBKS. RCB were on an absolute roll after winnning the toss and electing to field first.
