[WATCH] Nepal commences two-week preparatory camp at BCCI's Centre of Excellence ahead of T20 World Cup Qualifiers
The Asia–EAP Qualifiers for the 20-over tournament in 2026 are scheduled to get underway on October 8 later this year.
Nepal's national team made full use of the resources at the state-of-the-art BCCI Centre of Excellence in Bengaluru as part of a two-week preparatory camp for the T20 World Cup Qualifiers in October. The Asia–EAP Qualifiers for the 20-over tournament in 2026 are scheduled to get underway on October 8.
The players were seen sweating out in the 36-second clip posted on BCCI's X (formerly Twitter) on Tuesday, August 12. Be it honing skill, working on fitness, or simulating match scenarios, every area was being addressed.
The first-half of the video comprised the team getting what seemed like a briefing on the agenda of the training session from head coach Stuart Law. A few players were seen running over cones and performing some light stretching exercises.
The second segment of the video showed open net sessions as bowlers and batters toiled it out under the scorching sun. It also showed closed net sessions where a bowling machine was employed for the batters, making them accustomed to different types of deliveries.

Kushal Bhurtel (133 runs in four innings) and Sandeep Lamichhane (nine wickets in four innings) emerged as Nepal's leading run-getter and leading wicket-taker, respectively.
