WATCH: Virat Kohli prays at Simhachalam Devasthanam Temple in Visakhapatnam after successful ODI series
Virat scored 302 runs in the three ODIs.
Virat Kohli was the Player of the Series in the One-Day International assignment against South Africa, and after enjoying a memorable display with the bat, the star cricketer was seen visiting the holy pilgrimage place in Visakhapatnam. Notably, Virat was captured to have visited the Varaha Lakshmi Narasimha Temple located at Simhachalam in the city that hosted the third ODI on Sunday, December 7's morning.
The visit at the famous temple can be linked to Virat's personal habit of visiting holy places each time he manages to take out a few hours of his day and pray. Notably, the cricketer has been following a very religious life ever since his marriage to Bollywood actress and producer Anushka Sharma in 2017. The duo have been captured visiting numerous religious places, however, Virat seemed to be alone this time round.

Since the visit comes right after his successful series, where the New Delhi-born scored a staggering 302 runs at an average of 151.00, the ace batter was also named the Player of the Series in India's famous 2–1 series win. Virat starred across all the three matches, with two centuries in the first couple of matches, followed by an unbeaten half-century in the second.
"Just playing the way I have this series has been the most satisfying for me. Feel really free in my mind, whole game is coming together nicely. I've tried to maintain my own standards and make an impact. I can bat long and according to the situation. You have many phases where you feel doubt," Virat told on air during the post-match presentation.
The next assignment for the India batter will come during the series against New Zealand, which will take place in January 2026. The BlackCaps will be touring India for three ODIs, followed by a five T20I encounters as well. Virat, however, will only be playing the One-Dayers in Vadodara, Rajkot, and Indore, since it is the only format that the 37-year-old is active in.
